Well hello, October '22.

Is it just me or did January to September fly by?
And have you also experienced 9 months that have been weirdly fabulous and great and strange and hard and uncomfortable and inspiring and mystifying and optimistic and unrelenting and big-breath-taking and laughter-filled and challenging and comforting and wonderful? And all happening at random times, depending on the day and time? Because that's how I will summarize the first 3 quarters of '22.
The reason I'm highlighting the above is also to take a moment to be grateful for it all - my work, my team, my colleagues, the makers I work with and the most incredible community of customers and neighbours and small-biz supporters.
What I do know is I continue to be reminded that I am blessed to be born into the life I was - my success to date has come from lots of hard work, lots of risk, lots of leaps of faith and more than anything, lots of luck and privilege.
So as we move into the last quarter of 2022, the work continues to keep building this business while staying true to the "WHY" behind it all.
And the "WHY" behind it all stays the same as it was on October 17, 2014 when I opened up Collected Joy on Kingston Road - work/life balance, biz sustainability, connections, authenticity, joy, community and giving back.
So here we go, October/November/December!! The team (Rose, Christie, Lorri, Deanna and Nicola) and I are ready for all the giggles and connections and fun!!
Thank you again for all of your love and support.
xo,
Sharon
