SOUL ASSAM TEA 50% Milk Chocolate

ABOUT THE CHOCOLATE:
Back in 2019, we traveled to Kerala, India in search of specialty cacao. We met some fantastic people producing some of the best cacao we have had the pleasure of sampling. Although we did not come back with our suitcases full of cacao, we did however return with an abundance of spices, panela (small batch cane sugar), and Assam tea.

TASTES LIKE:
You have just poured yourself a nice cup of tea! We refined the Assam tea directly into the milk chocolate base. The tea on its own is rather intense and slightly astringent but the sweetness from the chocolate balances it out nicely. 

USEFUL INFORMATION:

• We source our Assam tea through Kohinoor Foods.
• The base of this bar is a milk chocolate, made using cacao from Oko Caribe in the Dominican Republic.
  
• Shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture
• The pouch is made from compostable material and printed with soy ink
• Soy free chocolate
